Our Theme

"Braving Economic Tides"

Risk more than others think is safe. Dream more than others think is practical.

Howard Schultz, Starbucks CEO

I knew that if I failed I wouldn’t regret that, but I knew the one thing I might regret is not trying.

Jeff Bezos Amazon Founder and CEO

The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word 'crisis'. One stroke stands for danger and the other, for opportunity. In a crisis, one always has the edge if he/she recognizes the opportunity apart from being aware of the danger. With the impending recession looming large, it becomes all the more important to understand and realize where the opportunity lies as far as being prepared for it is concerned. It is with this very intention that we present this year's Samanvay built around the theme of 'Braving Economic Tides'.
With a myriad of competitions spread across all functions of business, and the diverse high quality lecture series, the event is sure to enlighten one and all about the nitty-gritties of how to survive an economic crisis.

Oil may run out, liquidity may dry up. But as long as the ink flows freely, the next chapter of life will continue to be written!
